What data we collect

We collect information you provide and data generated when you use Questro:

• Account info: email, display name, and profile details you set up
• Friend connections: who you invite and who accepts, to run your private journeys
• Quest & penalty data: daily quests, whether you completed them, and chosen penalties (only shared with the relevant friend)
• Notifications: device tokens and preferences so we can send you reminders and updates
• Device data: device type, OS version, and app version for stability and support

Why we collect it

We use this data to run Questro: to create and alternate quests, enforce penalties between you and your friends, and keep the app secure and working properly.

How it's used

Your data is used to deliver the game (quests, timers, penalties), to show your friend what happened (completed, failed, or skipped), and to improve the app. We do not use your data for third‑party advertising.

How it's stored

Data is stored in cloud storage (e.g. secure, encrypted databases and object storage). We use industry‑standard security practices to protect your information.

Who it's shared with

Quest and penalty information is shared only with the friend in that journey. We may use service providers (e.g. hosting, analytics) that process data on our behalf under strict agreements. We do not sell your data.

User rights

You can access and update your profile in the app. You can delete your account at any time (see "How to delete data" below). Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights (e.g. access, correction, portability, or object to certain processing). Contact us to exercise them.

How to delete data

To delete your account and associated data, go to Settings → Account → Delete Account in the app. This removes your profile, friend connections, quests, penalties, and history. For more details, see our Account Deletion page. You can also email us to request deletion.
